                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                   PART II, SECTION 24-502, RELATIVE TO 
                   SCHEDULE II. SPEED ON THROUGH STREETS.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  Chattanooga City Code, Part II, Section 
       24-502, Schedule II. Speed on through streets, as amended, be and 
       the same is hereby further amended so as to delete the following:
            Hixson Pike, 40 miles per hour from Dartmouth Street to 
                 Fernway Road.
            
            Hixson Pike, 45 miles per hour from Fernway Road to West 
                 Fairfax Drive.
            
            Hixson Pike, 40 miles per hour from West Fairfax Drive 
                 to Adams Road.
            
       and add the following thereto:
            Hixson Pike, 40 miles per hour from Dartmouth Street to 
                 Adams Road.
            
            
       	    	 SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall be effective two (2) 
       weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
